Emmy Rossum - West Hollywood

I find Emmy Rossum very naturally beautiful and I admire her fairly low-key style. She was out running errands in West Hollywood on Friday wearing a white blazer, blue skinny jeans, brogues and a smile.

Very does a nice white blazer with the black trim for £32. (You can also buy a matching skirt if you want!)

Banana Republic have a pair of cobalt skinny's for half price at £24.99.

Now I LOVE the shoes! The spats with ribbons are so cute. Now they aren't too hard to come by. Dune do a nice pair for £75 but unfortunately, we have a budget to stick to. Red Herring for Debenhams do brogue style ballet pumps with a bow detail for £22. Not an ideal match but I think they're quite cute as well and do fit in the budget.

`

Rossum wears a fairly baggy black t-shirt under the blazer. Warehouse do what they call a Boyfriend T-shirt for £12.

That leaves us less than a tenner for a long necklace. Which means it is handy that George is so cheap! They do a silver heart pendant for £3.50!

So to sum up, the Very blazer was £32, the Banana Republic jeans were £24.99. The Red Herring brogues were £22, the Warehouse t-shirt was £12 and a George necklace for £3.50. All together, that adds up to £94.49!

Emma Stone - The Croods premiere

Emma Stone wore Lanvin to the premiere of her film "The Croods" on March 10th.

It's not my favourite look from Stone. For one thing, the dress doesn't look like it fits her properly. Aside from that, I think this look would look quite nice! It looks like a strapless black dress with a white t-shirt underneath, which is a way to mix up a dress that you've maybe had for a few years. It's a good way to dress it down a bit. She wore this number with nude heels and long necklaces.

Mango has a HUGE collection of little black dresses so you can probably find one that suits you (and maybe even cheaper) as opposed to the one I'm giving you. This wee number is £42.99, but it's a dress that would last you forever and could wear for all different occasions. You know what they say about LBDs!

It's important to note that with such a straight neckline on the dress, if you're going to add a t-shirt, go for one with a straight neckline also. At least one that doesn't dip down to your cleavage too much. I've learnt this from personal experience! It doesn't look good.

Dorothy Perkins do a nice, crisp t-shirt for £10.

God, how many times have I provided nude heels on this site? It's a fave with celebs though because nude coloured shoes elongate your legs. Truffle for Debenhams to a nice pair for £18.

Now no doubt you have long necklaces like Stone that you can wear, the possibilities are endless. I would advice that with the monochrome outfit, silver jewelry would suit better than gold.  But it is ultimately up to you what you accessorize the outfit with. I'm suggesting this Jon Richard heart pendant from Debenhams again for £12.

So the dress is £42.99, t-shirt is £10. The shoes were £18 and the necklace is £12. All together that comes to £82.99.

Much love,

Lauren Conrad - Miami

Hello world! Happy March!
I like to think that it's officially spring now. The weather has been pleasantly bright the last week so I'm well in the mood for spring clothing. That means lots of florals and bright colours - although I love them all year round so it's always spring for me!

I'm going to kick it off with Lauren Conrad. She was in Miami on Saturday for Cotton's 24 Hour Runway Show.

She wore a bright yellow Skaist-Taylor dress with nude wedges. Conrad is always in an A-line and for good reason; combine the bright colour and the California girl looks delicious!

A first example would be this drawstring dress from Gap for £39.95.

But I prefer this cute belted Banana Republic dress for £75. Banana by name, Banana by yummy colour!

If I stick with the Banana Republic, that only gives me £25 for the wedges and AHA! I found these nice suede ones from Boohoo.com for £25 exactly.

So that brings my budget to bang on £100!

Much love,

Josephine
